However, it took me a few tries to figure out the first time I wrapped a box, so I thought a tutorial was made where you can use this technique to make your wrapping. you also easier. How to wrap a box with a lid

Materials you will need:

The box is very sturdy and has a lid. I like boxes with lids that only go down the bottom half of the box, as I find lids that go all the way to the bottom of the inner box are harder to wrap and they tend to cause paper to tear while in use. So those cheap shirt boxes really aren’t the best boxes for this – look for thicker boxes that will last for years.
Thick, beautiful wrapping paper. Choose what you love and/or that suits your stay. You’ll see if for a long time, so this is the time to spend expensive paper (or find it at the after-Christmas sales store). Here are some Christmas themed options, and these are more general options.

Directions for wrapping a box

Step 1: Place the lid of the box on the paper and cut the paper. It will cover the long edges an extra inch to fold over the top. Leave the short ends long enough to fold over and over to the sides with a slightly longer overhang, about 1-1/2 to 2 inches (about 3-4 inches total in this example). Note: Wallet this example is actually a square box, making all sides even, but the idea is the same for any box size – two sides just folded, the other two forming the long end more because they are doubled.Step 2: Fold the long sides up and over the flap. Use a piece of tape to attach the paper to the inner edge of the lid as shown and repeat on the other side (now only one piece is needed to hold in place).Step 3: Take the ends and fold them just like wrapping a regular box: 1. Insert the edges and fold as shown. 2. Make a crease and fold the glued edges over the box as shown.Read more: How to braid a ribbon in your hairStep 4: Glue the first folds to the inner lip of the box lid. Where the side papers and the end papers meet at the corners is the only tricky part, but only Pinch and fold until flat and then put a piece of tape to hold. Continue folding and wrapping the end just like a regular box, but take extra time folding and creasing, as you want this to look good for years to come.Step 5: When the end is finished folding, Wrap it over the edge of the lid and secure it with tape.Step 6: Say again with the other end.TIP: Go back to the cap and completely glue all the unglued edges. This makes wrapping work longer over the years as kids tear the lids off on Christmas (or birthday) morning.Then repeat the six steps above with the bottom part And that’s how to wrap a box to reuse it!
