    Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) softens the toenail, reduces the pain and prevents the nail from getting infected. Mix 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt in warm water filled in foot tub. Soak your feet for 20 minutes and dry your feet properly. Repeat it 3 – 4 times a week.

    Then lift the affected nail carefully using a blunt pair of tweezers.

    Mix 1/2 teaspoon each of organic turmeric powder and mustard oil to make a fine paste.
    Apply it on the affected toe and secure it with a band-aid.
