Let’s dive into how to crochet cross stitch patterns. This stitch creates a really lovely texture for any project. I know it’s the “cross pattern” created by the lovely cross stitch the stitcher makes, but it can be known by many names. It is an important part of some of my crochet patterns. The good thing is that the pattern is done almost exclusively with double stitches. This makes it easy to learn. The template always provides written text in addition to the chart, but now I’m going to share step-by-step visual instructions with you. There is also a video tutorial on how to crochet this nose at the bottom. Read: how to crochet cross stitch Today I recommend you learn the stitch and then you should use it in a crochet project! You can create your own pattern, but at the end of this post I’ve also included all the crochet patterns that are using cross stitch stitch!

THE MATERIALS YOU NEED TO LEARN DIFFERENT WORKS:

Hook hook:

To follow this crochet tutorial, you will need a crochet hook. When I crochet I usually use 2 types of hooks. I have listed them below:

They opened up my world with wooden hooks and impressed me with their wonderful lightness and how they felt in my hand. HOW TO CUT DIFFERENT PATTERN – PHOTO GUIDE:

1. How to get started:

Since the purpose of this post is to learn the stitch, I suggest you start by making a small test square:1. Chain 15 stitches, turn.2. Single crochet along the chain row, in turn. (or Double crochet – see text description – row 1) Then you’re ready to start the “Cross Pattern”! “A Beginner’s Guide to Crochet Part 2”.)

2. Chain of 3 stitches

3. Crochet Double Crochet Cross stitch

4. 3-stitch chain

5. Special stitching – DDCR (diagonal):

5a: Skip the next 2 dc

Skip the next 2 “Double Crochet” (dc). Notice that my fingernail is pointing on the base of the next stitch (third stitch).

5b: 1 dc on the base of the next seam

This image shows where the hook is inserted into the base of the next seam (third seam). From here you just need to complete a normal “Double Crochet”.This figure shows you what it will look like when you have completed 1 “Double Crochet” (dc) on the base of the next seam.

5c: 1 dc at 2nd of the 2 sts you missed

This image shows where you should crochet the “Double Crochet”. Drag “Double Crochet”.This image shows how it will look after you complete “Double Crochet”.

5d: 1 dc on the basis of the first stitch you skipped

This image shows you where the “Double Crochet” will go – the base of the first seam you skipped.This figure shows what it will look like when you have completed the “Double Crochet”. You have now completed the entire “Special Stitch” – DCCR (cross).

6. Double crochet in the next 3 stitches

Crochet “Double Crochet” for the next 3 stitches.

Continue:

• Repeat 5 & 6 until the end of the row
• Last row with double hook on third chain
• All other rows: Crochet Double Crochet stitched on row
• All other rows: Start with 5 or 6 spaced

HOW TO CUT DIFFERENT PATTERN – WRITING DESCRIPTION:

Cross pattern:Special mask – DCCR (cross): Skip the next 2 dc, 1 dc in the same position as the base for the next st, 1 dc at the 2nd of the 2 sts you skipped, 1 dc in the same position as the base of the first st you omitted.Row 1: 1 dc at the 4th ch from the hook, 1 dc at each ch on the row, in turn. (or single crochet crochet).Row 2: Ch 3, skip the first dc, 1 dc in each dc and end up with 1 dc in the 3rd ch 3. Rotate.Row 3: Ch 3, skip the first dc, *1 DCCR in the next 3 dc, 1 dc in each of the following 3 dc, repeat from * and finish with 1 DCCR in the last 3 dc, 1 dc in the 3rd ch. Turn.Row 4: as row 2Row 5: Ch 3, skip the first dc, *1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 1 DCCR in the next 3 dc, repeat from * and end with 1 dc in each of the last 3 dc and 1 dc in the 3rd ch 3. Repeat rows 2-5.
