Do you have a self-closing or opening door? This is a project that won’t take long and will make your life so much better. Before this fix, we had to use a door shield to keep our bathroom door open, otherwise it would always close on its own (sound familiar?). This shouldn’t be a big deal unless you have a small bathroom and the door closes to your ass while you brush your teeth. One day, I thought someone knocked me down while I was spitting out toothpaste. But that’s just the door, LOL, anyone can fix this in less than 10 minutes.

First step: Remove the old hinge pin
The easiest fix is to remove your center hinge pin and bend it slightly into it. middle hinge.Gently tap the screwdriver with a hammer until the latch pops out of the hinge and can be removed by hand.
