Sewing a tube top is a simple matter of sewing two pieces of fabric at the side seams – that is, if it’s a stretch fabric. If you have a stretch fabric, you can make it to your exact measurements and it will automatically stretch to your size. But if it’s a non-stretch fabric, that’s a different story. You have to make it fit your body and still fit.
A- B – measure the body circumference under the armpit CD – measure the body circumference around the highest point of the other bust – along the highest point of the bust. Dividing this value by 2 and adding 1/2 inch allows seam UV = EF divided by 4 plus 1/2 inch allowing seam plus 1/8 inch easily.
Once you’ve stitched the darts, hold them together, right-side up, and sew one side together and the other 1 inch from the top edge.

Sew both zipper edges to the top edge, creating a side seam zipper opening. This is necessary so that you can fit the end of the pipe along the bottom edge. If you don’t attach a zipper, you’ll never get past your shoulder.
An invisible zipper will look much better along the side seam – it will disappear into the seam
You can finish the bottom and top edges by turning the edge inward and sewing in place.
Attach straps if you want. Measure the length of the strap on the body from the ruler AB in the front to the AB in the back. Add 1/2 inch seam allowance. You can make fabric tubes for the strap. Find instructions for making thin fabric tubes here.
