What does MH Plunderblade World do?
When equipped and activated, Plunder Blade is used to Take down monster components while you fight them, allowing you to add parts before carving. The higher Palico’s Plunder Blade skill, the more items are knocked up after each swing. If Palico is far away from a creature, this skill will still be used oddly, without closing the distance, and your feline friend will attack mid-air for no apparent reason. Plunder Blade greatly reduces Monster Hunter: World Switching to Plunder Blade means Palico won’t use healing spray on your character anymore, so think twice about the trade-offs if you’re having problems defeating monster toughs!
How to search for Loot in MH: World
To begin the quest to find Plunder Blade, you must first complete the quest “Into the Bowels of the Vale” and then go to Area 13 of Rotten Vale with a few pieces meat in your carry-on bag. When you get there, talk to Researcher Lynian. If the NPC isn’t standing there at the moment, try completing other quests for the researchers and he’ll show up eventually.

Leave the area, then turn around and talk to Researcher Lynian again, where you’ll see a Plunderer member of the grim tribes flee. Camp will now appear on area 15 of the map (marked as “grim” with a bunch of question marks). Go there and wait for the Plunderers to spread out as you approach, then Palico will suggest you feed them.Drop a piece of raw meat on the ground where Palico is standing, then walk back to the tunnel entrance to the area to lure them back and start eating. Pick up your fancy new Plunder Blade! Be sure to equip it, then go out and get ready to grind some monster parts to perfect those weapon and armor sets.
