Sometimes I put them on, thinking I could deal with them, but somewhere within the first hour or so, I started to feel like I was suffocating. Also, unisex shirts can get really boxy, so I created this seamless t-shirt to take it from boxy to feminine. And it only took me about an hour!

Fashionable t-shirts

I never buy antique boats. Never. I have a few that I got from various places, but I never paid for them. I like floral prints (although I’m not generally a flower girl) and I like sentimentality.But these are unisex shirts and the cut doesn’t work for me, to be honest. Maybe that means I’m being vain, but I don’t like wearing things that don’t feel good to me. And the collars make me want Hulk out.

So crew is where we started. First I turned the shirt inside out and cut off the collar at the seam. Then I drew a quick sketch of what I wanted for the neckline. I couldn’t really cut the front much lower and save space for the braid, so I mostly made it a little wider and squarer. I use soap powder To bookmark this project. It doesn’t have to be completely perfect, as the braid will change it, too. But you want it to be mostly symmetrical.After cutting the neckline, I marked lines half an inch apart along the neckline, front, and back. I try to keep the lines perpendicular to the neckline as much as possible.Read more: How to remineralize teeth on a vegan diet I then make cuts along the marked lines with small, sharp scissors. I left about 1/4 inch from the top and 3/8 inch from the sample so as not to affect it. I don’t recommend going any closer than this! If you’re working with a pattern-free shirt like this, you can definitely experiment with the length and width of your cuts. But since I had a relatively small area to work with, I kept them closer together and a little shorter. This is done for a narrow braid, just make sure your cuts are pretty consistent.

Making braids

I found a tutorial online on how to make braids, but it wasn’t as clear as it could be, so I had to figure out exactly how it works. Once I got to the end of the braid, I tucked the last loop under the first and sewed a few stitches to hold it in place. But if you’re not comfortable with the needle and thread (I said this is bad luck!), you can cut the last loop in the middle and tie it around the first loop.When finished, it should look something like this, you can see that the braid focuses on the fabric a bit. It’s more obvious when it’s out of the body, but it’s still there somewhat when it’s active.

Here’s what it looks like done! My neck can breathe! And the sleeve modification gives it a bit of a cap sleeve instead of the original boxy sleeve. I like it like this with a pair of jeans.
