If you want to trade with people nearby, Quick Links deals are the way to go. Just open the menu with then select Quick link. You and the person you want to trade then both have to touch the bottom screen of the dashboard to connect. Once you’re connected, select Purchase and start trading. Trade link
If your friends are not nearby, you can choose to trade with them online through Link Trade. First, make sure you have other people Friend Code registered on your dashboard. You can do this by going to the main control panel menu, tapping Friends List (smiling orange box) at the top, then select Sign up for friends in the top right corner. You can add someone locally (if they’re sitting next to you) or over the internet, which means you have to enter their Friend Code. You can find your Friend Code yourself Friend Cards, next to the Friends List tab on the lower screen. Make sure you both add each other, or you won’t be able to find each other when trading. After registering each other in the Friends List, start the game and choose Festival Plaza from the menu. Before trading, decide with your friends who should send a transaction request and who should receive it. If you both send the request at the same time, it won’t work properly. Arrive to send a transaction request, cativate on big blue Purchase button and select Trade link. Choose your friends in Guest list (if you can’t find them, press Ⓧ to update the list) to submit a transaction request. take a transaction request, just make sure you are connected to the Internet in Festival Plaza and wait for the request to pop up on your screen. Press Ⓨ to accept the transaction request and start trading. Make sure you do nothing else while waiting for the request, otherwise it will timeout and have to be sent again.
GTS (Global Trade System) can be used to trade with anyone in the world. Choose Festival Plaza from the game menu and connect to the Internet by activating the blue color WiFi Button in the bottom right corner. Then tap the big blue Purchase and select «GTS». If you can’t find a good deal when searching for Pokémon, you can also choose to deposit a Pokémon yourself and claim in return for the Pokémon you want. Late Pokémon Game
