How To Thread A Bobbin Janome Sewing Machine
In this video tutorial I will show you how to thread a Janome sewing machine style bobbin. How to Style Bobbin Janome – Step by Step
What you will need:
- Sewing Machine (I’m using a Janome Stirling Sewing Machine)
- Empty bobbin
- Topic
Step 1 Place the spool into the spool holder, which should be located on the top right side of your sewing machine.Step 2Read more: How long does it take to drive through texas Guide thread around the guides just at the top of the machine. They must be marked on the top of your machine. Depending on the make and model of your sewing machine, there will be one or two thread guides.Step 3Throw your bobbin blank and guide the thread tail through one of the holes on the bobbin. Be sure to thread the thread starting from the inside of the bobbin and working outward towards the top of the bobbin.Step 4 While holding the bobbin end and bobbin, carefully push the bobbin into the spindle of the bobbin, located at the top of the machine on the right hand side. Be sure to keep the yarn tail there.Step 5 On some machines, you will need to pull the handwheel to activate the bobbin shaft when the foot pedal is pressed. This particular machine needs a pull-out crank and you hear a click while doing this. If your crank does not pull out, it may not be needed.Step 6 Now you are ready to start threading the bobbin! Push the spindle of the bobbin to the right. Next, push your foot down on the foot pedal to wind some thread into the bobbin. After 10 laps, stop the machine and cut the end of the thread that you are holding in your hand. Then you can fill the bobbin with as much or as little thread as required.Step 7 After you have the required amount of thread on the bobbin and the machine has stopped, push the bobbin shaft to the left.Be sure to push the handwheel back after you have finished placing the thread on the bobbin. If your needle doesn’t go up and down when you go to sew then you know you forgot to do this!
