How to enter commands
1. Open the Chat Window
The easiest way to run a command in Minecraft is in the chat window. Game controls to open the chat window depend on the Minecraft version:
- For Java (PC/Mac) Version, press the T key to open the chat window.
2. Type command
In this example, we will summon a tame ocelot owned by DigMinecraft and a tuxedo cat in Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac) 1.13 with the following command: /summon ocelot ~ ~ ~ {Owner : DigMinecraft, CatType: 1} Enter commands in the chat window. As you type, you will see the command appear in the lower left corner of the game window. Press the Enter key to run the command.
