I hope everyone had a better Independence Day than we did. 4 out of 5 of my kids had very high fevers over the holiday weekend, so we basically stayed home and missed everything. Big Bummer – no fireworks, no picnics and no sleep. But at least, we’re finally back on our feet! One thing I’ve accomplished is a facelift for a neck rocker. I won’t call myself a professional, but a self-taught furniture upholstery fanatic. My uncle and great-grandfather were in the business, and although I could never learn from him, I can only say it’s in my blood. . She hated to part with it because it was so comfortable, but as a newlywed piece of synthetic furniture, that was all it could stay. I like to use a small pair of locking pliers, which allow me to grab the tips of nails and pins without damaging the furniture.
