How to make tortillon
First, I always use a template. You can see it below, on the right. After two cuts, it’s ready to roll.When rolling a torch, you don’t start by rolling the paper. Instead, you start with a fold. So make a small crease in the corner (as shown below). Read more: how to join the same server on slither ioThen fold that first fold in half two or three more times to form a thick, pointed “piece” of paper and you can start rolling the rest of the paper around. As you begin to roll, hold the paper at an angle so that the point will remain small. If the angle is not extreme enough, the end will go nowhere.When you’re done rolling the paper, secure it with tape. Then, cut another piece of paper based on your tortillon pattern. Take the rolled tortillon and place it at one end of the second cutout (see below).You would roll the first torus inside the second piece of paper, just to make the final torus a bit thicker and easier to handle. I used a small piece of tape to secure the corner of the second piece of paper before I started rolling it. Now it’s ready to use! NOTE: I sometimes use a piece of fine sandpaper or an eraser to keep the tip of the tortillon clean when I use it. It just depends on how much color mixing you want.
