This is an interesting method, however it is quite messy as it requires a very good amount of water. Just make sure you cover your floors nicely. TIP: I use a large trash bag on my desk. Then I use a towel or cloth before to soak up the water.Step 1 – Mixing the Teas: Make luggage tea or powder tea with the following recipes:Matcha – Combine with 1/2 less water than the bundle instructions. Bigelow Orange Spice creates a pleasant gray color. Turmeric tea produces a yellow color. Powdered tea – 2 T per 1/2 cup of water. This creates a candy brown color and a sepia tone. Liquid tea / Kombucha – straight from the bottle; undiluted. Created some great colors. I like the effervescent ones.TIP: You can add a drop of colored gel powder to make what I call ‘Tinted Teas’. Just one drop is all you want! Make sure you incorporate it nicely.Step 2 – Put the tea on the paper: Creative. Play with tea and paper. Rub between sheets of paper earlier than stain.Technical 1: Place the paper flat on the floor. Apply the tea with a brush, sponge, or eye drops. Technical 4: Place the paper in a cookie sheet with a low edge. Pour loose tea straight onto the paper. Pour slowly and stop when it covers the paper. You can only make a few sheets at a time with this technique. Pour and place another piece of paper on top. Press it down with your hand to let the tea infuse. Use a cloth or paper towel to soak up the liquid. Enable this to sit down for two minutes. Separate the sheets and place on a baking tray. Bake this dish in the 200º low heat oven for five minutes. It will dry the paper and darken most colors a bit. I used the Tazo Ardor Tea Focus right here. It provides a beautiful pink shade. I also love using Kombucha bubble tea combined with a bit of gel pigment for this system. The purple and water examples were done this way.
