Make the letters

Set up a board of directors
Next, I took a piece of wood slightly larger than the letters and traced the letters on the board. I use a router to carve each letter about a quarter of an inch onto the board, then sand each letter.

We used Varathane stain with Rust-oleum to make this project stand out. We used their early vintage American color to stain the board. Then we use their new bleached blue color for the letters.
