Android uses Google ID to manage Clash Royale accounts.
Apple uses an Apple ID (or Game Center Account) to manage Clash Royale accounts.

Yes, that’s it. You only need 1 Google ID and 1 Apple ID, you can download your Clash Royale account on any device.

How to download 2 or more accounts on iPhone, iPad and iPod

First, make sure your existing account is connected to your Game Center ID by opening the Game Center app, then going to the Games tab. If you can see Clash Royale in the Games tab, along with the game achievements, everything should be fine now. If you don’t have any other Apple IDs, you can create one right on your phone or here. You need a Game Center ID for every Clash Royale account to save your progress and load them whenever you want.

After Signing in with a new account, open the game and start playing with the new account.
Usually the game will ask you to load the other game account after converting the GC ID. If it doesn’t ask you to download the second one, you should restart your device, open the Game Center app, select Clash Royale and then open the game via Game Center.

Go to Settings on your device, scroll down and open Game Center.

Tap on your Apple ID -> Sign Out -> Sign in with a new Apple ID -> Close the Settings Window.

On your home screen, open the Game Center app, select Clash Royale.

Tap the blue 3-dot icon in the top right and select Play.

How to play 2 or more accounts on Android devices

To get a second account on your Android device, simply go to Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account -> Google and enter your Google ID information. Then open the game, go to the Settings menu in the game and double tap the green Connected button to load your new account from the list of Google IDs.

If you have a red Disconnected button it means your current account is not connected with the correct Google ID, you should connect it with the correct ID asap, otherwise you can lost in the future.
If you can’t load a new account after switching to it, make sure you’re using the latest version of Google Play Services. If it still doesn’t work after updating all Google Services, you should remove all your Google Accounts and try adding them again.
