How To Make A Pallet Picnic Table
Today I’m excited to share a tutorial on how I make my own pallet picnic tables! I’ve always wanted to have some picnic tables like this and have spent months scouring the surrounding neighborhoods and web of old pallets. I want them with the slats close together so there aren’t too many big gaps but I never find them and most of the pallets I have found are too dirty for indoor use/and I’m a bit worried about those too. what they have to touch or be treated with, like I want to use them as tables. Therefore! After a long time of planning and standing in the aisles of my local Bunnings, I finally figured out how to make my own without spending too much on scrap wood and without owning too many tools (and making use of max cut shop at Bunnings).
What you will need:
Contents

- 11 pieces of wood 89 x 19 x 1200mm
- 3 logs of 90 x 12 x 1200mm, cut into 840mm lengths (ask the cutting shop to do it for you)
- Wood glue
- Nail 25mm
- hammer
- Ruler / measuring object (not shown in the picture)
- Measure squares (not an image and should not be used, but you should definitely have and use)
Total cost of materials: about $70-80 Total time needed: about 30-45 minutes max I did all my shopping at Bunnings and adjusted my measurements to fit wood options I have available – so if you’re going to shop at Bunnings, the measurements I used will make your project super fast.
