What is it with Connor and all his weapons-loving friends. My girls might care less… ..but oh my gosh it’s like it’s pumping through his penis veins! • Synthetic FUR Fabric (I found this very long fur in the Lobby… and I bought 3 yards for my 8-year-old. Oh, and they always have 40% off coupons, so don’t forget to use them. it’s on that fur.)
• Velcro 1-2 inches wide
• Styrofoam construction hat (also from Hobby Lobby)
• Foam eye mask (yes, from Hobby Lobby)
• Hot glue gun and stick
• Canvas shoes (I bought a pair for $6 at Walmart to cover… .but check your closet for an old pair)
• Sewing Supplies (here’s a list of my favorite sewing supplies, in case you need some ideas)

But instead of adding a front vertical zipper, I added velcro. This fur is so long, I was worried it would all get caught in the zipper. I used hot glue to attach the feathers to the hat. Use HAIR GEL to smoothen and clean facial hair! I even used a bit of hairspray to keep it in place. Ha! Great work!!! The ammo shoulder strap is made from a long strip of vinyl imitation leather. Then I cut rectangular pieces of wood, spray-painted them silver, and glued them to vinyl strips. Then I cut thinner strips of vinyl and glued them through each block, to make it look as if that’s how they were held in place. Then I cut the two ends of the vinyl sheet across and glued them together at the hip. And the crossbow is something my husband Steve made in the garage out of scrap wood.
