Brown craft paint
Thin gold ribbon

You don’t want to cut the main strip that wraps around the broom, but just the smaller strips underneath, as they’re unnecessary and distracting.Step 2. Your brush will look wide and flat, and the Nimbus 2000 is more rounded. Use your fingers to flatten the wide part of the mini brush so it looks more rounded. Work a little and it will look much more rounded and realistic!Step 3. Cut your wooden dowels into 4″ pieces. We cut with a saw. Use sandpaper to smooth one end of the stick until it is round and smooth. Use a styrofoam brush and brown craft paint to paint the pins for the broom handle.Step 4. Wrap the thin gold ribbon around the ribbon on the broom to make it look like the Nimbus 2000. Use hot glue to attach the ribbon at the top and bottom and a few drops in the center to keep it in place. gold ribbon, so I used some gold paint and just painted some of the thin white ribbons that I already had.Step 5. Use a glue gun to attach some hot glue to the center of the brush head.
