I’ve hosted a lot of football parties over the past seven years. From football party prints to field goals with soda cans and even a DIY soccer field, one thing they all have in common is the football party decorations I made myself. And of course football party games. It is so easy to make and is the perfect centerpiece, possibly the final piece, for any football table. They are very simple to make with just a few things you can buy at your local hardware store. The instructions below create two equally sized field targets to place at either end of your table.

Read more: how to draw a smiling face The beauty of this project is that you really only need pieces of PVC and paint for this project. Here’s exactly what you need to score! Ask your local hardware store to cut your PVC pipe for you or get a set of PVC pipe cutters to cut at home!
- (1) 3/4 inch x 10 foot white PVC pipe cut to the following sizes (you will get a little extra)
- (4) 12 inch pieces
- (6) 6 inch pieces
- (4) 3/4 inch elbow connector
- (4) 3/4 inch tee connector
- Spray paint yellow
- Black spray paint
How to score goals in soccer
I have included step-by-step instructions as well as pictures below of each step to make it as easy as possible. Want to print instructions – use the instructions tag at the bottom of this post.
Step 1 – Put your PVC pieces together.
I’ve included an image with the instructions below to show you how to create the shape of a scoring pole using pieces from the list provided. You will only be using two of the tee connectors in this step, not all four.
Step 2 – Spray paint.
Start by painting your target column pieces yellow. After you have sprayed the paint, stand it up and let it dry.
Step 3 – Add black tees to stand.
Read more: How to draw a saree Once all the paint is dry, add black tees to the end of your goal posts to make it easier to stand. If you are placing them on a surface that is not too flat, you can add a lining or other flat surface to help the column stand.And now you have the perfect sized on-field goal posts for your soccer party!
