Measure one tablespoon of baking soda into a liter ziploc bag. Measure 1/2 cup of vinegar into a snack-sized ziploc bag and close the ziplock bag. Put a snack-sized ziploc bag full of vinegar in it one liter ziploc bag with baking soda in it. Get as much air out of the quart-sized bag as possible before closing the buckle. Go out! Stand in the middle of your yard. Grasp the snack-sized ziploc bag from the outside of the quart-sized bag and pull it out. As soon as the vinegar starts mixing with the baking soda, drop the bag in the grass and watch what happens. If your bag swells but doesn’t explode, try increasing the amount of baking soda and vinegar. If you do, be sure to drop the bag quickly and take a few steps after you’ve mixed the two substances together – when the bag explodes, the vinegar will splash in your eyes.
