How To Make A Big Lego Candy Machine

Build a working candy machine out of LEGO® bricks!Do you have M&M’s? Or Skittles? Even if you’re not doing tricks or treats, there always seems to be plenty of candy floating around this time of year… Add a little creativity to your kids’ results with this fun LEGO® project this! Slide the handle over to drop a few M&Ms onto the bottom of the machine. Then open the door and the candy falls into your hand! If not, maybe your kids can find a replacement or come up with a great design of their own! When you drag the tile on the right side of the photo, the M&M will drop down.Then open the front door, and the candy comes out!Update: This project has been updated and is included in our new LEGO® book. Read more: How to tie a bjj . beltUpdate: If you need to order these pieces, the red and black element are actually two bricks. You will need a 2 x 2 rocker plate and 2 x 1 rocker bearings.Step 4: Assemble pieces like this. This will be the ramp for the candy to slide down.Step 5: Find pieces that look like this. This will be the door for the candy to come out.Step 6: Attach the ramp to the baseplate as shown. Add two 2 x 2 bricks.Step 7: Add door pieces like this.Step 8: Add tiles to the baseplate as shown.Step 9: Add two 2 x 6 bricks to each side. Add a 1 x 6 to each gray piece with holes. Add two 2 x 6 bricks behind the ramp.Step 10: Add two 2 x 10 flat pieces above the ramp as shown. Add two flat and smooth 2 x 2 bricks. These bricks will allow the arm for the candy to slide back and forth.Step 11: Add a 1 x 6 brick to the left side as shown. We used some window pieces so you can see the candy levels inside.Step 14: Fill up with candy!Step 15: Add some flat pieces for the top.(Happy to leave this on the counter so Moms can share the M&M too… Just sayin ‘… ????)
