How To Make A Beaded Stretch Ring

We love making jewelry with elastic! It’s a great way to make a beaded ring. We designed this Beaded Bracelet with a coin bead with a Black Spinel face as the center focus bead. Then we attached it with seagull blue crystals and Garnet gems. We finished with a strip of gilded beads. So beautiful! In this video, we’ll show you how to use a beading needle to thread beads onto an elastic band. We will share how to make the ring more secure by double threading. How to make a beaded stretch bracelet

Material

30-40 Delica Beads, gilded, size 11/0 1 Faceted Coin Bead, Black Spinel, 6mm 2 Cluster Beads, Green Crystal, 2mmx3mm 2 Bead Faces, Garnet, String Beads return 2mm 10″, width 0.5mm

Tools

Large-eyed beading needle (optional) Scissors Masking tape Clear paper strip Beaded nail polish (optional)

Steps

1. Start by figuring out your ring size. To do this, wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger and cut it so that it fits the correct end around your finger. Lay out the flat strip of paper to use as a guide. 2. Cut a 10-inch piece of elastic beading and fold a piece of tape covering one end. This will keep the beads from slipping out. Read more: how to tell if your leopard chameleon is constipated 3. Thread the other end of the elastic into the eye of the beaded needle to thread. (We love using a bead for a project like this, but you can actually make it without a bead because the elastomer has a large amount of body to it.) 4. Put Garnet beads, teal crystals, spinel beads, teal crystals and garnet on the shell. Then eat most of the golden seeds. 5. Hold the thread over the strip to see if it’s long enough. Add or remove gold beads until the string bead is the same length as the length of the paper strip.6. Remove the masking tape and remove a Garnet crystal and teal from one end of the rope. Replace the masking tape. Add Garnet and teal crystals to the other end of the beaded wire. This will ensure that the knot is tied next to the largest bead, the Spinel coin, so we can hide it.7. Circle the beaded elastic band around to form a ring.Read more: how to remove black magic | Top Q&A Then, use a beading needle to thread the elastic through all the beads a second time. Keep an unattached 2″ tail at the top of the tape to use for a future knot. 8. After you have covered the beads with the elastic a second time, remove the tape. Gently pull on the ends of the elastic to tighten the loop and remove any gaps between the beads. Tie the two ends of the elastic band together. 9. To make the knot stronger, tie the ends together. But this time wrap one end around and through the loop a second time. Gently pull on the ends. 10. Finally, tie the two ends together again. Gently pull on both ends to complete the knot. Cut the ends into ¼”. 11. Add a bit of clear nail polish or jeweler’s glue to the knot. Slide the Spinel coin bead over the button to hide it. Let the glue dry before wearing the ring. To wear a Beaded Ring, roll it onto your finger rather than stretch it. We thought this would be a fun design to make with different gemstones and then wear as a stacked ring set.
