Hiding Hair Extensions: Tips & Tricks Have you ever spent your hairdo time looking in the mirror and seeing your extensions showing? When it comes to hair extensions, I know it can be overwhelming, especially hiding hair extensions. Luckily, today I share tips and tricks to hide hair extensions quickly. I’m always asked if I have any tips and tricks for hiding extensions and so I figured out why not compile a post all about it! If you’re new around here, I’m totally obsessed with my extensions, I just can’t live without them. They are a high-maintenance thing that keeps my daily life low. I can’t talk about them enough and I’m an open book when it comes to them. I always try to leave 1/4 inch of hair above my extensions to cover them. 3 – When tying your hair up in a high ponytail, turn your head over. This causes the strands of hair to flip in the direction and you won’t hit them as much as if you were trying to brush your hair up to the top of your head with your fingers. 4 – When braiding your hair, don’t worry about them when you first braid them. Leave them as they are and then when you make pancakes (always pancakes with extensions) your braids look fuller, hide them. You won’t have much to hide and will have more space to hide them. 5 – Don’t stress or think too much about it. If they popped out a little more often than not, no one would notice.
