1. Strength training

The first way you can train for lacrosse is through endurance training. This means becoming stronger and more fit, which will make you a better passer. I will tell you exactly what exercises you need to do to get stronger. You can do all the strength exercises you need at home. All you need is a towel or a soft surface like carpet and you’re good to go.This is great plank form! For starters, focus on training your core and abs as they are the ones you use the most. Plus, your core muscles recover really quickly, so you can work them out every day. The best way to train your core is to plank. Try to plank for 30 seconds and rest for 30 seconds. Do this 5 times. You can also sit up or sit up and these are both great exercises. So an example exercise might look like this: plank 30 seconds, then 10 sit-ups, then 20 sit-ups. Rest 30 seconds. It’s a set. Repeat as many times as possible. Maybe the first time you do this, you’ll only be able to do 3 or 4 sets. Tomorrow you can set a target of 5. If you do this for two weeks you can get more than 10 I bet. So like I said, pick a few exercises and do them every day. I promise you will see the difference in your game.

2. Watch movies

The next better way you can learn lacrosse at home is by watching a movie. I feel this is one of the most watched parts of lacrosse and it’s easy to watch lacrosse without knowing what to look for. Read more: how to install tattoo needles So here’s what I want you to do. First, look for a full lacrosse game. There are a ton of them on this YouTube channel, or you can get an ESPN+ subscription for $5 and they have a ton of games. So now that you’ve found a game, pick a player in the game that you’ll be watching the entire time. Now observe what they do with and without the ball. How do they move? How do they cut back? How do they keep their sticks? Take notes and learn everything you can from them. And another way to watch movies is to break down specific plays. Let’s say you really like a dodge. Playback many times. Why is dodging so good? What did the defender do wrong? What did the attacking player do right? I have dozens of movie breakdowns on my youtube channel that you can check out, my newsletter and Instagram even more. By breaking down the movie, you’ll be able to see exactly what you need to do to reproduce these moves.

3. Have better nutrition

The third way to do a better lacrosse workout at home is to look at your diet. This is everything you put into your body to give you energy, and I can almost guarantee you that you probably have better nutrition than what you have right now. People like to make some really hard and complicated things, but in reality, it’s really simple, and all you need to know are these 3 basics:

A. Limit junk food and sweets –

This includes chips, cookies, macaroons, ice cream, cheetos, all of which you already know are bad for you. Sure, these are all good from time to time, but if you eat these foods all the time, your body won’t work or recover. Plus, you just don’t feel good. I know I used to eat these a lot, but now that I’ve cut out most of these foods, I feel so much better.lacrosse nutritionTry to limit these

B. Make sure you get enough protein in each meal –

Protein is key to helping build muscle and keeping you healthy and injury-free. These are things like chicken, turkey, fish or eggs. Make sure you’re eating some lean protein like this at every meal.

C. Eat lots of good carbs –

Carbs are what fuel you, but some carbs are better than others. Whole wheat bread, brown rice, sweet potatoes – all are long-lasting energy goods, as white bread or rice won’t give you a lot of energy.

Do at least 200 wall balls every day that you are at home. I’ll also be doing a whole video on the wall ball soon, but that’s not rocket science. 5. Great Restorative Practices

And the next way you can get better at lacrosse is with good recovery training. What does that mean? It means taking care of your body when you’re not working out or hitting the ball or working out. Here are 3 easy ways to practice recovery:

A. Sleep 8 hours/day –

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I value sleep. It’s not difficult – just sleep at least 8 hours a day. Try to put your phone in another room at least 30 minutes before bed and do whatever you need to do to relax and rest.

B. Drink one Gallon of water/day –

You should drink a gallon of water a day, and that can be a lot if you don’t usually drink a lot of water. Water is the source of life, something for which we need to work hard. Get reusable water, fill it up, and make sure you’re drinking a gallon of water.

C. Stretch out –

Flexible passers are better. It’s as simple as that. Try to stretch for 5 minutes when you wake up and before you go to bed. It can be as simple as touching your toes, stretching a butterfly, or whatever you need to do to feel your best. @LaxWeeklyHQ on Instagram. I’ll give you as much free stuff as I can!
