With Christmas just a few days away, I thought you guys might want to learn how to draw a gift or wrapped gift. How to draw a gift or gift wrapped with ribbons and bows

Step 1

Start your gift by drawing a vertical line. Then draw 2 lines pointing away from you (as seen above). Now it should look like a down arrow.

Step 2

Now draw 2 vertical lines on either side of the arrow.

Step 3

Now connect the tops together using lines. Make sure that the bottom and top lines are parallel… as shown in my image above.

Step 4

Gently draw a line from the farthest top point on the left to the furthest top point on the right. Then draw a line from the top-center point and draw it straight through the center of the first line, forming an ‘X’ shape.

Step 5

Now draw 2 lines connecting the outer points together.

Read more: how to center an image in photoshop– Now draw 2 parallel lines to the bottom and top of the box. It should be close to the top of the box. – Also around the center of the ‘X’ shape, draw 2 curved lines.

Step 7

– Draw 2 curved lines to end the center of the arc. – Draw 2 flattened ‘S’ shapes just below the center of the arc. Also draw 2 ‘U’ shapes.

Step 8

– Draw 2 letter shapes like the first letter shape.– Draw 2 letter shapes ‘V’ to close the letter shape ‘U’ that you drew in the previous step.

Step 9

– Draw 2 ‘V’ shapes – Draw ‘U’ and ‘J’ shapes to form part of the bow.

Step 10

Step 11

– Gently draw criss-cross ribbons on top of the box. – Finish the right side of the ribbon with a slightly curved ‘V’ shape.

Step 12

– Now highlight the important lines on the box. Notice that we made the lid of the box protrude a little on each side.
