Here we have provided several different instructions that can be used to install .McWorld, .McPack, .ZIP or .RAR files. The MC format is the easiest to set up and also the most popular for new maps.

.McWorld
.ZIP or .RAR (iPhone, iPad, or other iOS device)

.McWorld

This file type is the easiest to set up. Simply click the download link. Sometimes you will be redirected to Dropbox or MediaFire. You need to go to a page that says “Open in Minecraft PE” and then click on it to load the map.

iPhone, iPad or other iOS Device (.ZIP / .RAR)

This guide is specific to .ZIP and .RAR files. Usually it is used for older maps that you will find on the web.first. Go to the App Store. Download and install the Documents app (link).2. Find a map you want to download in our maps section. In this case, I would download and install the Jungle Realms map. Click the download button at the bottom of the page, next you will be redirected to usually Dropbox or MediaFire. MediaFire is easy – just click the download button. However, if you are redirected to Dropbox, you need to close some pop-ups before you can download:3. Once you have selected the option to open a .ZIP or .RAR file with “Documents”, the Documents app opens and a prompt appears. Click OK.4. Click the .ZIP file (in this case, Jungle Realms PE). As soon as you are done, the .ZIP file will be unzipped and you will see a new folder, click on the map folder to open it.5. Hit the Edit button in the top right corner and select all the files (and possible folders) here. Then press Zip in the left panel. Read more: How to prevent dust on the desk6. Deselect all files except the new .ZIP file. Then press Rename in the left panel.7. Rename the file to something else and make sure it ends with .mcworld In this case I named it: topqa.inforldPress Done.8. A reminder message will appear. Click use .mcworld to continue.9. Select the .mcworld file (in this case, topqa.inforld) and press Open in found in the bottom left sidebar panel.ten. Minecraft will now load and create new worlds. Computer

first. Start by downloading iFunBox to your computer. This is a free file manager app that works for both Windows and Mac computers. Run the setup file and install the app on your computer.2. Plug your iOS device into your computer using a data connection (cable).3. Click here to find the map on MCPE DL and then download it.4. Start the iFunBox app you recently installed on your computer. In this case, the device name is Joe’s iPhone | iPhone 4S on USB (Failed). Then click on “User Applications”.6. Click the Minecraft PE icon.7. Select Open Sandbox.8. Double-click the game folder.9. Double-click the topqa.infong folder.10. Double click on the minecraftWorlds folder (hover over the folder name to see the full name if not visible).11. Here is a list of all your worlds. A world is like a map. Find the map you downloaded earlier from the maps section on MCPE DL and copy and paste it here. Downloaded maps are by default downloaded to USER > Download both on Windows and Mac. Usually, maps are zip files that are compressed when downloaded. Users can open zip files by clicking on them. To open a rar file you will need WinRAR. Windows can only open compressed files (zip or rar) with WinRAR.
