Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and dough two 9 inch spherical cake pans1. Arrange 3 mixing bowls: 1 medium bowl and 1 pair of giant bowls. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Set aside.Read more: How long to bake shrimp at 3752. Separate eggs into two opposite giant bowls. The egg yolk becomes one and the egg white becomes the opposite. Beat egg yolks with 3/4 cup of sugar on high speed until yolks are pale yellow (about 2 minutes). Stir in 1/3 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.3. Pour the flour mixture over your egg yolk mixture and beat on low speed with a mixer until smooth.4. Using a dry, transparent whisk, beat the egg whites on high speed until soft peaks (1 minute). With the mixer on, pour in the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and beat on high speed until the egg whites are firm but not dry (1 minute).5. Gently beat the egg whites into the yolk/flour mixture until the mixture is simple. Divide evenly between two cake pans and bake at 350°F for half an hour or until toothpicks are visible. Flip the cake over to a wire rack and let cool to room temperature.6. Once the dessert has cooled, use a serrated knife to trim the sides evenly.

1. In a large measuring cup with lid, stir together evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and 1/4 cup whipped cream.
