A plastic bag

First thing, make sure to remove particles that leave your glass tube. Then, get a plastic bag or sealable container and pour the alcohol in – your one-time beater should be completely covered. Next, put about 4-5 teaspoons of salt in the bag and give it a gentle shake or stir to make sure everything is well mixed. You will find that this solution will remove all the nasty stuff. You only need to let one of your players soak for a minimum of 30-60 minutes. Ideally, you should let it soak overnight. The next step is to rinse with slightly warm water and if there is still some plastic left in hard-to-reach places of the disposable brush, you can use q-tip or pipe cleaner. Finally, you just need to rinse it again and let it dry.

Natural ingredients

For each of these natural cleanings, you must follow the same steps as above. One solution is to use salt and vinegar – this method is akin to an alcohol and Isopropyl salt cleaning solution. Another alternative to one-off stains is to use baking soda and vinegar, similar to the previous solution (salt and vinegar). This method can be a bit less effective because baking soda isn’t as granular as salt, so it’s harder to clean hard-to-reach areas. However, if you let your victim sit overnight in this cleaning solution, everything will be fine.

Bobby pins/paper clips

Everyone has staples or paper clips at home, this is why they are a popular method for cleaning a one-time typewriter. In some situations when you don’t have time to use one of the methods we mentioned before, bobby pins or paper clips can be your ultimate savior. The first thing you have to do is straighten the bobby pin or open the paper clip. Then you start scraping the inside of the bowl. That’s it.
