How To Apply Got2b Glued On Frontal

After my previous post, 7 Things They Didn’t Tell You About Got2b Stickers for Your Lace Wigs, I received several emails about how I apply my lace wigs using Got2b Glued hair gel. Before we empty our tea, there are a few things we need to consider: First, you need to understand that this is a hair gel, not a binder. I know it can be frustrating that 90% of the beauty community uses this product and their wigs look amazing, however, when you try to use it, you can hardly stick it out. I was there at one point. However, I had to realize that if I wanted this product to work for me, I had to work with IT. If you have very oily skin or you sweat, like me, then you will have a little more difficulty with product application and abrasion. This doesn’t mean it can’t work for you. That simply means you’ll have to take extra steps to protect your device. Third, you need to be patient. Whenever you are applying lace adhesive or substituting for another product, the drying process is the most important step. Knowing this, you should not be too hasty. Your glue, or in this case gel, takes time to cure so it can hold you maximum. Read more: how to move an object in unity

Step 1 – Clean the area

Contents

The best way to ensure you have a safe place to keep is to remove oil, dirt, sweat, and product build-up from the area. I like to use 91% alcohol to clean this area. PLEASE DO NOT Use alcohol of this strength if your skin is sensitive. I recommend doing a patch test to make sure your skin won’t react negatively. If you don’t want to use alcohol, you can try using a skin protectant.

Step 2 – Apply a thin layer and dry completely

I find the best way to achieve maximum hold is to put a barrier between the gel and your skin. This can be achieved by applying a thin layer of the gel and drying it completely on a cool environment. When the gel is completely dry, you will have a good base to hold more firmly.

Step 3 – Apply a layer and let dry until sticky 1-3 times

Now that we have a base, it’s time to start the layering process. I know this can be a little scary because when we hear “layer,” we think of buildup and flaking. While this can happen, the negative impact can be greatly reduced if we patiently complete these steps. When applying gels, I like to use a small eyeshadow brush, a flat foundation brush, or a thin brush tip. This allows me to control how much product I put on my skin, spread it evenly, and keep my hands clean. Apply a thin layer and let dry until sticky. Whenever I need a tighter hold, I apply 2 coats of gel tacky, 3 more with foundation.

Step 4 – Apply lace in sections

Step 5 Wrap the circumference with a scarf

The final step is to wrap the head with a scarf and allow time for the hair to dry. COMPLETELY. This step is one of the most important. You need to let the gel dry completely for maximum hold for maximum minimal loss!
