This technique will really work for anything that is inflatable. I have used this method on inflatable pools as well as pool toys and floats. Step 1: Create a soapy mixture You will want to create a soapy water mixture in a spray bottle if available. This will also work with some types of buckets, but I find the spray bottle makes things a lot easier. To make soapy water, add 5 tablespoons dish soap to 20 ounces of water.You can make soap as you like, the more soapy the better. The soap mixture will start to bubble over any areas that are leaking. You may need to spray and wipe an area several times before bubbles start to form. When you see bubbles, spray and wipe the area again to confirm that you have found the leak. debris. To fix a hole or crack in a hard plastic kids pool, get some marine silicone or a hot glue gun and seal the crack or hole. Use a card or spatula to even out the silicone and let it dry. This tube will be enough to repair large cracks that are cured in about 24 hours. For $12, it’s a good choice. If you have a glue gun, you can do it for free.Glue may not last as long as silicone, but it will cost you nothing if you already have a glue gun.

Yes, you can use duct tape to temporarily patch an inflatable pool. Duct tape won’t hold for long and a more permanent patch will need to be applied in a short time. Patching the pool with duct tape is not recommended, but can be a temporary fix.I’ve used duct tape to patch an inflatable pool before and I’ll never waste time trying that again. Honestly, it’s not worth the hassle.
