Introduce

Dorgesh-Kaan is a large goblin city for players who have completed the quest Death to the Dorgeshuun. It offers glass-making and stealing facilities as well as a high-level agility dungeon and a new kill zone.

To Dorgesh-Kaan

The most popular way to reach Dorgesh-Kaan is to walk from the cellars of Lumbridge Castle to the Dorgeshuun Mine. Turn south near Mistag and continue south through Nardok’s weapon shop to a gate. At the south end there is a separate crafting area, with stairs leading to the killer’s dungeon and the agility course. Point of interest

Location Information Teleport Orb: In the room in the northwest corner of the lowest floor is Oldak. He creates Oldak’s magic Distance Travel Orbs, which are teleportation orbs that take you to a random point in Dorgesh-Kaan. (He can create Goblin Village orbs for players who have started the Another Slice of HAM quest.) He charges 2 rule runes and 1 molten glass for each orb. He also has huge breasts. Bank: The bank is located just south of Oldak in the northwest corner of the lowest floor. It’s nice to have in a far away city. Market: The southern half of the mall is the market, indicated as a “store” by the usual pot of dough on the map. The market is a confusing place, as the sellers just hang around and even interact with each other. Most of them sell unusual (and rather gross) goblin foods that only heal 20 LP!! At the north end of the market is an oil lamp, where the player can use a swamp asphalt to make oil and pour into the lamp. See the store section below for more information. Barlak ‘the Bone Collector’: At the south end of the market is a beautiful long pond. If you exit the market southwest and then turn north along the small corridor, you’ll see Barlak at the end. He buys certain special bones and shells, paying both cash and exp! The first item he wants are new long and curved bones that are rarely dropped by the massive monsters in the game. A long bone can be traded for 1k cash and 1.5k build xp; a curved bone can be traded for 2k cash and 2.25k xp build. Need to build level 30 to get xp. Giant and perfect shells from Minigames Temple Trekking can also be traded here. He only pays 250 gp for a regular giant shell, but he pays 500 gp and 500 xp crafting for a perfect shell. He also accepts tortoise shells for 600 gp (same as high alch value).

Quests in the area

Skills to train

Thieving

Dorgesh-Kaan has a lot to offer the growing thief. Pickpockets, a stealable machine, and *twenty-two* chests that can capture any thief from levels 36 to 78. Pickpocket: Level 36 thieves can pickpocket the Cave Elves scattered throughout the city. On the northern half of the main floor are the Cave goblin NPCs, as well as the level 24 and 26 Cave goblin guards who will attack the thieves. The loot includes weird goblin food that heals for 2hp, so you can easily continue. Pick key: In general, rooms with green linens have a level 52 Thieving chest (“stone chest”) and rooms with pink bed linen have a level 78 Thieving chest (“metal chest”) with rewards and xp is better. Wire machine: The wire maker in the crafting area (described below) can be obtained at level 44. The loot is always goblin wire, which can be used by level 87 crafters to craft orbs of light. .

Make

A crafting area is located on the south side of the large mall – it can be reached by going up the stairs, going south and immediately going down the stairs again. This area provides water and a scope on one side, and a kiln and sandpit on the other side (south of Bartak). Unfortunately, the furnace is only used to make jewelry and glass (not allowed to melt metal, not even gold or silver). However, the good news is that Dorgesh-kaan offers an alternative to the seaweed/soda ash used in the production of glass. Swamp weeds are dropped by goblin cave creatures, and can be baked on the range to make soda ash. The nearby sandpit and kiln quickly completed the glass-making cycle. A wire maker in the hallway regularly squeezes out goblin rope in the cave, which can be thinned (level 44, 22 xp) and used to craft light orbs. Light orbs can only be crafted by level 87 crafters, but finished orbs (with goblin rope in the cave) can be traded. At level 52 fire crafting, the player can use finished light orbs to repair randomly broken lights around the city for 1k fire crafting xp per orb. However, finding these can be frustrating, so it’s a good idea to pick up chests along the way.

Agility and Slayer

The last important part of Dorgesh-Kaan can be reached by taking the stairs south of the crafting area. Level 80 light source and agility is required, and a mithril mount and crossbow are required for most of the course. The grappling routes also require 70 strength and 70 range. While agility experience can be earned only from obstacles, it’s best to agree to take the parts to Turgall for the goblin generator for bonus xp. They want players to cook food and sell it to them, but the money spent (usually under 300 gp) is not worth much.
