Rainforest Cafe“An awesome place to take the family. The service was amazing and a chef came out to review food allergies (for me, it’s mango). My group were treated as guests and the jumbo shrimp were amazing”“I love rainforest cafe there are some adventurous options and some calm options even the kids’ grilled cheese was good. When they say their tea is good they don’t lie and they kept refilling our cups. My sister and I loved all the animaltronics ( In molly’s words pun very intended ) my dad got wet which made it even better the storm happens every 30 minutes and it got loud so just know your kids.”“Too loud to have a conversation. Steak and shrimp were adequate. Son had steak and liked it. 2 daughters had burgers, one liked it, the other was too salty to eat. I had blue something sandwich, which had no flavor. We loved our waiter. He was terrific. Took desserts to go because the noise was ridiculous.”

Pizzafari“I cannot stand Pizzafari and I really hope they replace it with a better dining option. Pizza is BAD here, you do not want puffy bubbled pizza as your Disney pizza experience. The lines are long and I don’t seem to understand why. The only good thing is that they have indoor seating.”“It was the BEST pizza I ever ate the cheese was amazing and I don’t usually like cheese the sauce was PERFECT and the crust was the perfect crispness! my group had certain dietary restrictions and the dietary menu was amazing I haven’t stopped thinking about Pizzafari and I want one near me.”“There are not a lot of choices. My pizza was stale and was obviously under a heat lamp for a long time. I think ordering pizza at home would be better. I love Disney restaurants but nothing stuck out to me here as special.”

Harambe Market“Love this little area of DAK. The theme is super immersive and the food is delicious- my favorite was the chicken kebab, though I’m not sure if that’s still on the menu. Either way, the chicken here is so good, especially for a quick service meal, and if you can grab a good table, it’s well worth a visit.”“Went here on latest trip, and it exceeded expectations. The bowls, especially chicken rice bowls, are delicious! Harambe is quick and the prices are very fair. Food is similar to what you’d get at a chipotle and kind of like a less expensive, more limited version of Satu’li Canteen. Personally, definitely coming back, but it depends on your taste and your family’s preference.”“This was much better when it first opened before they downsized the menu. Last visit at the end of 2019 was disappointing. We love the theming, though, and the ability to charge a phone and sit under an umbrella for a little while during lunch is nice.”

Fairly the prank!“This quick service location offers your typical theme park food. It’s big, air-conditioned, and offers plenty of safe, noncontroversial food options, but I think that DAK has lots of other, better quick-service options. That being said, if you’re traveling with a picky eater, or someone who’s a big fan of dinosaurs, the theming here is actually pretty cool.”“Food is good. The lounge is great for a quick drink and the same bartender has been there for 2 trips. Jimmy is great. Fun atmosphere.”“For a quick dining place, I think this restaurant is really good. It’s good and quick. I always eat chicken breast nuggets with french fries and honey-mustard sauce. I LOVE it !!!”

Yak & Yeti Native Meals Cafe“This is my favorite spot to grab a quick lunch in Animal Kingdom. Everything I’ve tried on both breakfast/lunch and dinner menus has not let me down. It’s a fantastic place for Asian fusion-type food and is always delicious and filling. The seating area is beautiful and offers plenty of space to spread out. If you like Chinese food, this is a great option- and the location is highly convenient and pretty centrally located in relation to a lot of the popular attractions in DAK. The mini mango pie is delicious, so if you’re here, give it a try!”“This is a great place to grab a lunch that’s a little bit different than the other meals you’ve eaten all week, but still pleases the whole family. Courtyard seating by the fountain is a relaxing atmosphere! The courtyard itself has a private bathroom (with a beautiful mosaic on the entrance), plus the bathroom for Kali River Rapids is steps from the courtyard exit, as well.”

I made reservations after hearing how great the food, service, and character interaction is, and I gotta tell ya, I agree on all 3! The actually engage in conversation with you and you’ll walk out pretty full if not too careful, LOL! You may not be able to try everything, but you’ll get your money’s worth for sure!”“This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love seeing the characters in their safari outfits. It is also a good place for me, a picky eater, to try some yummy food without having to commit to a whole meal. All of the food I have tried here was good.”“My favorite place for sit-down lunch in the Animal Kingdom. I would definitely suggest this restaurant if you don’t want to wait in lines to meet the characters because here they will come to you! They have a good list of drinks and lots of options for both picky eaters and those that want to try new things! They also have a good selection for kiddos too. This is a great use of a dining credit if you are on the dining plan, otherwise, it is a bit pricey! Well worth it though if you love the characters!”

We haven’t had a bad dish here, ever.”“One of the most delicious and unique restaurants on all Disney properties. Extensive menus coupled with great service in an incredibly themed and distinctive venue. We come there every time we visit Animal Kingdom.”“Went here on my last trip, and wow! Our server was lovely, and they were so accommodating to my allergies. I always have trouble eating Asian-style food due to my allergies, but they made me feel so comfortable. We had a delicious meal, and the portions were huge! Would definitely recommend it.”

There are some superb eats at Flame Tree Barbecue in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!“This is a great place to sit and take a break for a minute- especially later in the afternoon after the lunch rush when it’s less crowded. If you like meat, this is the place for you!”“Flame Tree BBQ is one of the best QS at Disney. The food is great, well priced, and good portions. Seating behind the restaurant has great views and is usually peaceful and not crowded.”“I’ve eaten here almost every time I’ve gone to Animal Kingdom and the barbecue is the most enticing smell when you’re in the vicinity. The quality is consistently good, especially for a quick-service location. Also has a lot of seating which is great but it is all outside so beware of scavenging egrets. “

Pongu Pongu“Stopped here for the pongu lumpia out of curiosity and was not disappointed! The night blossom drink was pretty sweet, but I mostly bought it for the aesthetics and the boba balls. If you’re looking for a light, fruity snack that’s a little outside the box, I recommend trying the pongu limpia- not to mention it’s one of the less expensive wdw treats!”“Love pineapple, love cream cheese so the pongu lumpia is simply the best. Get one for a snack or two if you’re really hungry. I haven’t tried any other food from this place as the options are very slim but it’s a good place to grab a snack and some drinks if you’re hungry but not starving.”Read more: Best microwave air fryer combo 2021“If you’re not into the pineapple lumpia, this spot doesn’t have much else to offer. While the lumpia is delicious, I am very much not a fan of the night blossom. Way too sickly sweet and the alcohol doesn’t cut the sugar flavor at all. The beer options are okay but you can get better QS elsewhere!”
7. Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

Anandapur Ice Cream Truck“My husband and I stopped here for a quick cool down of ice cream. It was your typical chocolate/vanilla swirl. Nothing special but at the same time that often hits the spot. If you are looking for something you can’t get anywhere else then this isn’t your spot but nothing bad about it either.”“One of my favorite childhood memories is hanging out with my day while my mom and brother were on Everest. (I was too scared) and He bought me a mickey bar from this cart. Perfect on a hot day. Perfectly themed to park area.”“Great ice cream. Convenient location a must-have every visit”

(We found a nice shady, hidden patio there). Will try this again for a quick breakfast”

Tiffins“Dinner at Tiffins was the best way to end our day at Animal Kingdom. Highly recommend making a reservation for 5:30/6pm and finishing your day here. The food is delicious and better than your average “park” meals. Nice wine checklist as properly! Positively do the bread service. Yum!”“This restaurant was one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in any Disney park, on both coasts! The octopus appetizer was delicious. The braised short rib was amazing, scallops were perfectly cooked and the butter chicken was tender and delicious, with wonderful flavor. I also got the lobster Mac and cheese, which was so cheesy and delicious with nice chunks of lobster. The cocktails were also fabulous and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be going back again and again, as we just became DVC members! Such a pleasant experience.”“We had an ADR for Tiffins towards the end of the day at Animal Kingdom. It was a great way to end the night. The food was good, the service was great, and it was quiet in the restaurant. This might not be the best option if you have little kids. As others have said, the menu is a bit adventurous, but if you are here on a trip without kids, definitely consider it!”

Cheeseburger Pods“This is definitely our favorite restaurant in animal kingdom. The bowls here are so good we started making our own at home!! There’s tons of indoor and outdoor seating- both great for different reasons. The cheeseburger pod is incredible, the desserts are super cool and instagrammable, and the bowls are extremely tasty (and healthy!)”“Cheeseburger pods…anything else I have to say? Oh yes- that kiwi margarita was the bomb!”“Delicious! We eat here often and it is basically a really good disney chipotle. Inside tables aren’t super hard to find and mobile order works well here. You find the cheeseburger pods here which I don’t personally like but it seems like a lot of people do. I’d recommend this restaurant to almost everyone as they have stuff everyone should enjoy.”

One in all our favourite hidden gems!“We ordered 4 orders of churros and drinks and our server was the coolest. Such a fun vibe, I usually hate taking time to stop and eat or relax because I’d rather be riding rides, but I’m so glad we stopped here. Whether you sit outside to catch some cavalcades or inside to soak up the A/C, totally worth a break in your day!”“Such a wonderful location that I first heard about watching allears. This lounge is so beautifully located and currently an amazing place to watch character cavalcades float by. The drinks are pricey but very very good (and strong pours so be careful!) Definitely a relaxing must-do experience for those over 21.”“Sometimes words like ‘amazing’ or ‘fantastic’ or ‘delicious’ still aren’t enough for some places.
