Leave about 6 ″ from the top edge to the center of the handle. If you want the handle to be longer, increase the number of inches. Check that both handles are the same by holding them together to make sure they will hold properly. I had to adjust sometimes to make them even. It should look like the picture above when all the straps for the straps are pinned into place.5. Sew fabric. Start at one side end of the fabric and then sew across the fabric just below, or just above the top of the top edge seam (so there are no pockets for the dowel).
