PLANTS THAT NEED EXTREMELY USE MOSS ON FEMALE

Contents

You can add moss totems to any creeper! The benefit is that many plants, when they grow firmly attached to your moss post, will grow mature leaves that look quite different from their young ones. :

  • Monstera deliciosa, Monstera siltepecana, Monstera adansonii
  • Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Cebu Blue’
  • Epipremnum aureum, also known as Pothos!
  • Any climbing Philodendron like Heart Leaf Philodendron, Philodendron ‘Brasil’, Philodendron ‘Pink Princess’

ADDITIONAL TIP FOR YOUR LOST POINTS

  • Make sure to water your moss post whenever you water the plants. Misting will be too difficult, so bring the plant into the sink, sink, tub or shower and thoroughly soak the moss column and you can water the plants at the same time!
  • Let your moss column dry after watering.
  • Remember to continue using plastic wrap twist rope to train your vines as they grow and fasten them to the moss post. If you notice aerial roots on the vines, place them right next to the moss post and tie the rope to the pole. This will encourage roots to grow into the post.
  • When you first place the moss totem in a pot, secure your plant in it and fill the pot with soil, your totem should be fairly stable. But be careful for a while when you move it. Once the tree and roots develop, the totem will become even more stable.
  • Once your tree reaches the top of the moss pillar, you can chop off the top of the tree if it grows beyond the top, or you can expand your totem!

Finally, if you want your moss poles to be a certain size and you want this size from the start and don’t want to expand later, you can simply sew the two cylinders together from the beginning. . The hardware mesh roll is 2 ft tall but you want a 4 ft moss post. Simply create two matching cylinders and join them together to finish off the top with plastic wrap twists!
