What you need for a DIY Runaway Halloween Costume for Kids:

• White T-shirts
• Baby doll with face + plastic arms
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun + glue
• Black Sharpie
• Optional: mini kids candy box

How to DIY Baby Escape Halloween Costumes:

First, assemble the doll. I used scissors to cut off the limbs and remove all the filler. I then used scissors to cut out the face. RIP dolly.

Use hot glue to glue the face to the inside of the shirt. I suggest putting the shirt on to find the right position. Apply glue all over the face, especially around the eyes and around the nose to really get the creepy details shown in the shirt.

Put on your shirt again and use a marker to mark where your right arm and leg go. Use hot glue to attach them.

Optional but great: use hot glue to add a box of candy to the baby’s hand. Baby wants candy!!

While wearing the shirt, ask a friend to add a text bubble with a stroke. I went with “release me!” but “give me candy” is also an opponent!
