I found Lake Atitlan looking for places to fly my paraglider in March. I don’t know how magical this place is. “Canvas.” So you and I will unpack the “courage” together in this course AND draw lots of funny owls. You can see more photos and video montages of this Art Gypsy ARTventure HERE. Ok… this is the “Study” wing that I did. I just wanted to focus on drawing an almost realistic but still colorful outfit. I wanted to focus on the feathers, and challenge myself to go into more detail – this is my “work” in everyday life… LOL.FIRST, sketch the wings…Read more: How to be sassy to get the attention of every man around you SECONDS, using lighter and darker whites, yellows and browns – any color will do, or combine lighter and darker brown. Paint the top of the wings lighter brown and the tips of the first row of feathers darker brown, leaving the right edge lighter. Don’t worry, we have a lot of classes to do. Note that now I always leave the right side of each feather open.Read more: How to be sassy to get the attention of every man around YouFIFTH, this is where you can take a deep breath… exciting and tense. We are just feather painting. It doesn’t really matter. It’s fun to learn and try! You got it! Let’s see how seriously we start taking things?! We are silly! ???? I added the “shaft” (did you giggle?) of the feather with black in the center and then added white and other colors to create the feather patterns.Read more: How to be sassy to get the attention of every man around you This is where you get giddy! Feathers come to life when you add in the use of a “dry brush” to coat the feathers with bright colors. IMPORTANT & SUPER interesting: see the little dents in the fur? It was like going through my sketch and dipping my paint in the feathers here and there.
