They’re fun to put together, and based on your feedback – they seem really helpful to you guys! This month, I decided to choose the bench style. I feel like a couch is one of the more versatile pieces of furniture you can own. I ran with the entryway texture/theme for the purposes of this particular post, but the couch is also wonderfully positioned at the foot of the bed, to fill in awkward negative spaces in the hall or nestled in a nook or cranny. I also like the look of a couch in my home office because it gives me extra seating, as well as an additional surface to drop papers or books. I love balancing a couch with art! Imagine the stunning statement this pattern would make in a home or bathroom entryway. Believe me when I say, this $180 modern figure looks much more expensive than it really is. I can easily see this connection in my living space or family room. If you’re wondering what to put on an empty wall in your great room… think of ordinary living room furniture. The “cool” collages are always the most fun for me. Remember when I had a vintage car printed in our old living room? Obviously, I’m not done with that yet! I swear- it will happen one day. I love the woven baskets as an art installation. I think textures and patterns are really cool! Paired with a faux palm tree in a modern potted planter, you can’t go wrong with a storage bench. I’m really digging a parson-style bench, and that doesn’t even get me started with that blue velvet! I may or may not design the bathroom in that exact color right now (more details on that color coming soon).I look forward to adding a few more couches to our new home.
