why should i believe in jesus

This year is my twelfth year of living as a Christian (since I was baptized). I was born into a Catholic family, inherited from my parents. However, to be honest, I didn’t want to follow my parents’ beliefs blindly when I was growing up. In my young life, I often struggled with many questions about God, many of which are still mysterious to me to this day. Many times I tried to understand the Creator with this little brain. I was eager to know who the real God is, who I worship. I used to think that when people asked me what my beliefs and background were, I would be able to give reasons and explain my beliefs. I am responsible for my faith. Sometimes I thought I deserved to know God and I felt smart enough to form the truth about God, until I realized that in the end what I got was disappointment. the right to share it widely. To me, Christianity is not about religion. I’m quite allergic to ‘religious’ things, as many may feel, because history has shown that ‘religion’ has caused division and war everywhere instead of creating peace. and harmony in this world. I believe that Christianity is about a way of life, imitating Jesus as the true and appropriate role model, and pursuing an intimate relationship with Him – it is a journey to becoming like God. Jesus, to have the characteristics of Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus, Almighty God for His grace in the midst of my busy working days so that I can write down a little bit of my life experience as a disciple of Christ. Christ is here. Friends, this is my testimony of “Seven Reasons to Believe in Jesus”.1. He is the only One who came to the earth and actively associated with people.Man cannot come to God by his own strength or understanding no matter how hard he tries. It was God who first took the initiative to reach out to man in a loving way. Jesus is the perfect expression of God, in human form, miraculously born into the world He created, to create a connection between earth and heaven, to build build a bridge between man and God. Because Jesus loved people so much, he came to us so that we could have an intimate relationship with God. If you really care for (or love) someone, you can’t wait to start a conversation. You can’t stop yourself from offering sincere help to their needs. Your initiative will show your care and love, inside and out. Many people are afraid to show their love for fear of being rejected. However, when you take the first step towards making an act of kindness and sincerity, you are overcoming your fear, because perfect love drives away fear.2. He is the only One who died, rose again, and ascended to heaven.Human history has proven these facts. Did you realize that every year the world celebrates Good Friday and Easter (in March – April), as well as Ascension Day (in May)? To me, this clearly represented the world’s recognition of Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension. Furthermore, his death and resurrection indicated his sovereignty over death and life, while his ascension showed his sovereignty over earth and heaven. It is the end of all living things on earth. No one feels good about ‘extinction’. But, as believers, we need not fear death because Jesus has conquered the grave! He won over death. Furthermore, He has provided us with an eternal home in the glorious heavens. It is our final destination where we can be with God forever in happily ever after life. In Jesus, who has been ordained as the ruler of this universe, we have the assurance of eternity.3. He is the only One who emptied Himself, to be the servant of all.Jesus was the incarnation of God, in the essence of God, but he did not consider equality with God something to be used to his advantage. He turned himself into nothing by taking on the nature of a servant, created to resemble a human. He came into this world not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for us. There are so many world leaders who have failed their people that we might consider rebellions as a consequence. The broken leadership agencies failed to meet the needs of the people because they only sought their own interests. However, the life of Jesus is a great inspiration for successful modern leadership. The key to Jesus’ leadership was to empty oneself, not to seek His own interests, and to be the servant of all. People can put their trust, hope and faith in this type of leadership.4. He is the only one who dedicates his whole life to living for God.Jesus had a clear mission throughout his life on earth: to live for God. He lived to do God’s will and to complete His work. He dedicated his life and completely surrendered his will to God. Seeking God’s joy was his life’s purpose. His earthly life, although relatively short (33-36 years), had an enormous impact on people around the world, more than anyone in history who has lived longer. God is not just an object to be studied. More than that, God is ‘something’ to experience. We can come up with many theories about God, but it is useless if we do not experience Him for ourselves. In order to experience God, we need to wholeheartedly submit our lives to His control. We need to confess His authority in our lives while denying ourselves every day. Sometimes we don’t need to hear what others have to say because we don’t live to seek human approval. God, as the Creator, knows more about us than anyone else and even more than we do ourselves. Dedicating your life to God is the best way to lead a meaningful and productive life. Living for God is an honor. He is the only One who has sent us as witnesses to tell the world His story.Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he commanded his disciples to go into all the nations, proclaiming the good news of God’s truth and salvation. He wants the whole world to know his name, for it is God’s will for all men to be saved. Will tell them about it? Or do we just keep it a secret and let them suffer even more? If we know that Jesus is all that this ‘dead’ world needs, we cannot keep Him to save ourselves. We should share the truth with the world so people can find the healing they desperately need. This is why I believe that evangelism is involved and that it is always meaningful to share the gospel, verbally or non-verbally. Witnessing the story of Jesus means loving people in a positive way. To be God’s partner in this world, it is a privilege to bear witness to his good news.6. He is the only One who claimed God as Father.In the “Our Father,” a prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, he referred to God as Father. They say, “Our Father, who is in heaven, bears his name.” No other religion or belief system in this world describes the relationship between God and man as such a father-son relationship, only in Jesus can we imagine God. God at the most intimate level. God, is not something that is simply too remote, untouchable, or transcendent. In fact, God is so close to us that even He wants to dwell in our hearts. Knowing this truth, we need not worry when we have something to ask Him. We can freely tell Him about our requirements, happiness, sadness, strength, weakness, success, failure, etc. Our lives are widely opened before Him. Nothing is a secret to Him. As a father who truly loves his son sincerely, Jesus loved us completely and unconditionally (He accepted us the way we are). On the other hand, as a father who actually reprimands and punishes his son when he does wrong, Jesus also shows his discipline towards the one he loves.7. He is the only One who has brought messages of unchanging faith, hope and love.It is clear and undeniable that Jesus’ life message is primarily about faith, hope, and love. Throughout his life, wherever he was, he delivered this message in the context of God’s kingdom. As many Christians know, the core of Christianity is to love God and people. In love, there is hope. Love also trusts all: if you truly love someone, you will believe the good things about them, even if they don’t seem good enough or worthy. Faith, hope, and love in Christ are not the same as these worldly notions/values (which often change depending on the circumstances), because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. forever. hope is hard to find. People can easily lose love, hope, and fidelity, especially in a situation where things don’t go as well as they should. We see a lot of things that are changing rapidly. We see broken promises everywhere. People change, economies change, friendships change. There is nothing we can really rely on. Even friends can become enemies. It seems hard to trust people. It seems very difficult to make a definite commitment. But, Jesus Christ is different. He is the only One who has not changed. His love and fidelity will last forever. This is why we can faithfully place our trust, hope, and love in Him.
