The whale bursts into Regina’s “Magic Anonymous” sesh with Archie to ask her to send him back to his brother, as her curse only transports the living to Storybrooke. Regina declares that she can’t help, that she brings only those she wants – including, we later learn, Daniel, who has been preserved by a spell. Driving home in the rain, Regina sees Daniel wandering around, then finds his glass coffin empty. She goes to find Whale, who is on the floor of his lab with a severed arm. Regina and David deduce that the resurrected Daniel has reached the stables (where his fairy tale final encounter with Regina takes place), where Henry happens to appear. David is ready to “take down” the “monster”, but Regina insists she can talk to him.
