Connecting headphones and speakers to the DDJ 400 DDJ-400 has simple audio connections. The headset connects to the front of the controller using a smaller 1/8th TRS connection. The speaker connects to two RCA line level outputs on the rear, labeled main. These are color coded with a red connection for the right speaker and white for the left speaker.Finally, a TRS microphone input with dedicated volume control is found on the rear of the controller. It’s worth noting that the microphone’s sound is not sent to the computer via USB, which means you won’t hear it in recordings or streams.
