How To Get Adhesive In Fallout 76

In Fallout 76, Glue is a key ingredient in crafting, modifying, and repairing weapons and armor. Supplies are also very scarce, with few reliable spawn points to scavenge. To effectively upgrade and keep equipment in good condition, players should plant a “Stick Farm”. This involves setting up a CAMP (player’s home base), then growing and harvesting three foods – Corn, jackfruit and Tatos – then combine them with Pure water at a Cooking station to create Vegetable starch. When removed, that value becomes 4 Sticky. First things first: Plans

Contents

You will need to plan for a Small water purifierone Small generator and a Average generator. All of these will be unlocked after your first claim and defense Workshop. An easy way to do it yourself is Gorge Junkyard between Flatwoods and Morgantown Trainyard (go north out of Flatwoods on the path by the Warden’s Camp). Another one is Sunshine Meadows . Industrial Farmlocated on 86th Street west of Flatwoods, across the river and the Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center.Bethesda Game Studios / Bethesda Softworks

Step 1: Plants

Mutfruit and Tatos can be easily found in Flatwoods, which is usually the first town the player arrives at at the start of the game. There is a community garden along the road heading out of town (Road 86 goes west through the creek) where Jack fruit can be harvested. Across the street from that garden, in a lot behind a house, was Tatos which can also be harvested.Corn rarer, but a place is definitely an outside garden Morgantown Airport, another low-level area accessed early in the game. It’s here (arrow in angle brackets pointing down in the screenshot below). Tatos plus Razorgrain and Pumpkins are also found here.Bethesda Game Studios / Bethesda Softworks Read more: How easily termites spread from walls to furnitureYou will also need Fertilizer. This can be easily found in the barn and surrounding buildings Wixon Homestead (directly south of Vault 76) or inside Vault-Tec . Agricultural Research Center west of Flatwoods (where enemy resistance is stronger). When you have only one vegetable of each type plus only 1 Fertilizer, you can grow it at your CAMP. It will take 17 hours in game (not real time) for a tree to be ready to harvest. Any food harvested can be replanted to produce more crops, but you can usually get six Corn, Jackfruit, and Tatos plants during trips to the Airport and the Forest. will deteriorate over time, even being stored in your Storage Box. (Though 10 spoiled vegetables, or 10 spoiled meats, can be melted at the chemistry table to create Fertilizer; Fertilizer can be broken down into Acids, which are needed to make Gunpowder and thus it’s ammunition.)Bethesda Game Studios / Bethesda Softworks

Step 2: Water purifier

It takes 1 Pure water to make Vegetable starch. Purified water can only be found or created by a water purifier at your CAMP, and fortunately, plans for a small purifier have been unlocked. You only need the material ingredients to make one. They are:

  • 2 ceramics
  • 4 dong
  • 4 Oil
  • 4 Rubber
  • 4 screws
  • 15 steel

Ceramics, Rubber, eraser, Oil and Steel are all common scraps (oil is the waste at the bottom of Gas Cans and Oil Cans – they’re not just scrap metal).screw and Copper can bring you trouble. Screws are found in Table Fans, Toy Cars, Globes, Pepper Grinders, and Hot Plates. Copper is found in Hot Plates, Crock Pots, Light Bulbs, Lamps, Fuses and Telephones.Read more: How to Draw Wind | Top Q&A Once you have those documents, build Small water purifier at your CAMP. It will produce 2 Pure Water in 12 in-game hours, but it must be emptied to produce more. That is, of course, after you build a power supply for it.

Step 4: Build two generators

As you may have noticed, Water Purifier requires 8 Sources. That’s more than the Small Generator (3 capacity) or the Medium Generator (5 capacity) self-sufficient. You can build one of each or two Medium Generators, but you must build two. Their components: Medium generator:

  • 1 pottery
  • 3 dong
  • 3 gears
  • 3 Rubber
  • 3 screws
  • 7 steel

Small generator:

  • 1 pottery
  • 2 dong
  • 2 gears
  • 2 Rubber
  • 2 steel

Gears are also found in Typewriters, Cameras, Table Fans, Fishing Rods, Pocket Watches, and Adjustable Wrench.

Step 3: Harvest, cook and split

Once the Water Purifier is up and running, and the plants are in full production, it’s just a simple process to gather the ingredients, take them to the Cooking Station (built for just 2 Steel and 2 Wood, plans unlocked at start), prepare Plant Starch, then bring it to any workbench and discard that item for 4 Glue. It can then be stored indefinitely in your Stash box.

Step 4: Use it!

Glue is required for any weapon and armor maintenance, to create weapons and armor from scratch, and for most mods. The amount of Glue you need to repair a weapon or piece of armor will depend on several factors, including its condition and the complexity of the tool. Some repairs will require 3 Glue. It can be helpful to use Perks that reduce wear on your weapons (such as a Plumber and Licensed Hunter) to help save your Glue on mods and weapon crafting . It may take a long time but you’ll soon have a reserve of Glue until you spend your time adventuring and then return to the CAMP to harvest the vegetables and prepare the Vegetable Starch. Just make sure to regularly stock up on Purified Water, this will never go bad, so you’ll have plenty of water when the Corn, Sauce, and Mug are eaten.
