How to install a garbage disposal bin yourself

Step 1. Clean the sink.

Before you begin installing the garbage disposal system, be sure to clean the area under the sink and remove any residue in the tub. Place a towel under the sink to catch water that may fall when you install a new litter box.

Step 2. Unplug the old garbage disposal (if necessary).

If you are replacing an old trash can, unplug it before you begin. If you don’t see a plug under the sink, be sure to turn off the power to dispose of the trash on the circuit box.Tail under the kitchen sink

Step 3. Disconnect the connecting hose.

First, disconnect the drain hose that’s connected to your sink’s drain hose (or your old litter box if you’re just changing the way you dispose of the trash). The bottom of the machine is the horizontal pipe that runs between the sides of the sink, if you’re replacing the drain hose that’s connected to your dishwasher, you’ll need to disconnect that as well.Remove the sink drain hose before installing a new garbage disposal system

Step 4. Unscrew your sink drain hose and remove it.

Once everything is disconnected, you can simply remove the old sink cover and remove it. Additionally, if you are replacing an old garbage disposal unit, you will rotate the old mounting ring counterclockwise to remove the waste disposal unit.Get rid of the old plumber

Step 5. Remove the old plumber’s putty from the sink.

After the sink drain hose (also known as the flange) has been removed, you’ll probably notice an old plumber’s stain. Thoroughly scrub away any plumber stains that may be left behind, You can either gently scrape off the plumber’s stain with a squeegee or use extra 0000 microfiber to remove tough stains head.Plumber

Step 7. Fit the mounting pieces to the bottom of the drain.

To help keep your new low weight drain in place while you work underneath the sink, you can place your drain hose on top of the manhole you just pressed in place. You should have a flange, mounting ring, and snap ring. Make sure you screw the screws on the mounting ring evenly to get an even seal. Tighten each screw a little bit, and don’t prioritize one over the others. Hold everything in place on the drain assembly while you place the snap ring on the flange until you hear a click.Get rid of excess plumber
