Friendship is Magic “Where the Apple Lies” Review

It’s disappointing to say, but Season Six of My Little Pony is coming to an end in a few weeks. However, there is much to look forward to in the coming year. Not only is Season Seven confirmed, but we also get to see three Equestria Girls specials and of course the movie in theaters. Going back to today’s episode, this is the first episode to focus on Applejack since “Applejack’s Day Off”. The second one is not great, so Applejack is due to a quality version. “Where the Apple Lies” is one of the best entertaining episodes and one of the best episodes of Season 6. Official synopsis: When Apple Bloom blatantly lied to cover up a mistake, Applejack shared the sentence. embarrassing story of how she values honesty after telling a series of lies that nearly destroyed the farm and sent the entire Apple family to the hospital. by lying. This works because in real life, hearing how one person overcomes a problem or evaluates something can be a great thing to another person. Flashbacks are interesting for many reasons, chief among them being a great look at the early days of the Apple family. One of the most interesting aspects of flashbacks is the relationship between Applejack and the Big Mac. The two had a brotherly relationship that was loving but also full of contradictions. Mac is a highlight throughout the story here. Apparently he was the most talkative character back then. The text has a blast with this, giving him the funniest lines. Another highlight is the Filthy Rich. He didn’t appear much on the show. Recently, his human version was seen in Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree, but that was a poor performance of him. Here he is a business horse, but an honest, lovable man. His response to Granny Smith being “sick” was priceless. Not only is it not worth it, but a single lie can lead to many other situations that can lead to bad situations that someone never intended to be in. Applejack’s lie got her into situations that probably wouldn’t happen in real life, but it still worked. (And funny.) No big negatives, just the little things. For one, Applejack when making a silly deal with Filthy Rich was unrealistic.Overall, “Where the Apple Lies” is a great episode. The theme of lying takes center stage as Applejack explains what happens when a person tries to correct a situation by lying. Not only is it wrong, but it makes things worse.
